Project Engine
- The Company was a long established engineering business.
- The Comapny was in financial distress, which had resulted in its suppliers putting the Company on stop. Our team worked with management to liaise with the suppliers to ensure continuity of supply and closely monitored the Company’s cashflow position over a six month period whilst a rescue package was designed.
- The business was subsequently sold as a going concern and continues to trade.
Project Ford
- In partnership with a leading private equity group, Hilco have been implementing a significant operational and financial restructuring project.
- In conjunction with the Company’s management, Hilco’s team have assisted the Company in a turnaround of its operations. This turnaround has been multifaceted, varying from changing the way the Company organises its operational activities, such as purchasing and distribution, to financial restructuring of the Company’s balance sheet.
- A team of up to 60 has worked on this project, which required input from parts of the wider Hilco business.
- The Company’s performance has significantly improved and our restructuring role has been extended and deepened.
